Godzilla Attacks Berkeley at Zennen and Finn's Birthday

“Gahdzeela…..Gahdzeela”, Zennen Hura murr murr’s under his breath as he slowly falls asleep after staring at a last seen photo taken of the monster giant stamping his right foot down on a yakitori stand in an outskirt town of Tokyo. Zennen is an investigative reporter from the town of Berkeley, California. He is what is known as a “Godzilla fanatic”. For the last 4 and 11/12th years he has been stalking the giant from a far. Using hidden lipstick cameras across the country of Japan he has managed to capture the most revealing photos of the ravenous monster ever to be seen by anyone in the world. In one photo he actually detected Godzilla making a hand gesture that appeared to resemble our international sign for peace, two bunny fingers up. Zennen posted this photo to his blog and asked the world: “Does this mean Godzilla wants to give peace a chance?” “Or, does it possibly mean something worse in lizard?” Zennen noticed something else that disturbed him in the photo, the bit of drool hanging down from his tooth suggesting an empty belly, churning for something meatier than remnants of Tokyo townsfolk, nori rolls, and redbean mochi. It was time for a change. He wanted to see the world. He always wanted to meet a real hippy. He hated hippies. This was obvious by his resistance to growing his nostril hair any longer than past his top lip. He also hated the idea of a single payer healthcare system, tiny little cars that run on electricity, and Mexican/Pakistani fusion restaurants. It was time to attack Berkeley, just in time for his and his kid brother Finnegan’s birthday party at the Berkeley marina. Will Zennen, Finn and their preschool/daycare companions take down the beast despite his 50 foot height advantage? Will they do it by sword, saliva, acorn, or by some mysterious concoction they will develop by mixing various herbs, bay water, frosting, and worm guts they collect over the course of their birthday adventure? Will you be there to find out? We hope so!
